We are Celebrating The Chinese Year of the Horse here at the Gallery Starting on the 27th of March— and it's beautiful

Hello Reader and welcome to Spring!

We've got exciting news - the Year of the Horse gallops into Dolphin Gallery, starting this Friday March 27th.

The Year of the Horse is here, and there's no better place to celebrate it than right here in the Vale of the White Horse.

Opening this Friday 27th March and running throughout April, Dolphin Gallery is proud to present a stunning new exhibition bringing together 22 original and limited edition artwork by some outstanding artists — including Anthony Dobson, Josie Appleby, Allan Lancaster, Boid, Hue Folk and Liz Armstrong, among others. Each has captured the horse in their own unique and captivating style, making this one of the most varied and exciting shows we've put on.

The horse has always been woven into the identity of this part of England. Even more so here with neighbouring Lambourne being the home of UK racing. From the ancient chalk figure carved into the hillside to the working animals that have shaped this landscape for centuries, we understand these magnificent creatures in a way that runs deep. This exhibition reflects that connection — and invites you to see it through the eyes of artists who feel it just as strongly.

Whether horses are a part of your everyday life or you simply love art that moves you, we think you will find something that you will like.

Come and see the exhibition in person — we'd love to welcome you through the doors.

Year of the Horse runs from 27th March to 30th April - please pop in.
